Job summary

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Executive to oversee quality control activities and ensure that products consistently meet established quality standards, specifications, and customer requirements. The role will also be responsible for supporting Research & Development (R&D) activities, including product development, material evaluation, product testing, process improvement, and technical problem-solving.

Key responsibilities

Conduct inspections of raw materials and production materials prior to use in the manufacturing process.

Carry out quality inspections at different stages of the pulp moulding production process.

Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with the required specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements.

Conduct trials and testing of new materials to support product development and R&D activities.

Assist in the development of new products based on customer and production requirements.

Prepare samples for product development, trials, testing, and customer evaluation.

Monitor and record R&D trial results, test results, and product performance.

Analyse trial and test results and provide recommendations based on the findings.

Assist in troubleshooting product and process issues and work closely with Production to identify causes and implement appropriate solutions.

Work closely with the Production team and other relevant departments on product trials, testing, process development, and new product development.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Quality Management, Manufacturing, Engineering, Science or a related field.

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Quality Control, R&D, or a related function, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Experience in product development, material testing, product trials, or process development will be an added advantage.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with good attention to detail.

Able to understand technical specifications, drawings, testing requirements, and quality standards.

Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well with Production and other departments.

Able to work independently and handle assigned responsibilities effectively.

Willing to work in a manufacturing and production environment.
