Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a QA/QC professional to support the QAQC Manager on quality issues and site inspection activities. You will review ITPs, investigate NCRs, and prepare essential QAQC documents including PQP and method statements.

You will also coordinate testing, document Site Instructions, and handle RFICs for technical clarifications. The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor's in Civil Engineering or related fields with at least 2 years of Infra experience; you will liaise with clients

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveyor or any relevant field.
• Minimum 2 years' working experience in the related field, especially Infra.

Responsibilities

• Assist QAQC Manager in quality issues.
• Monitor site inspection and ITPs.
• Investigate and close NCRs issued by client/consultant.
• Prepare method statements, material approval requests, PQP and QAQC documents.
• Prepare and submit RFIs to Consultants/Clients for completed works.
• Check DO against approved material and quantity and submit to client if required.
• Coordinate and witness testing (soil, concrete cube, material lab, etc.).
• Maintain documentation of Site Instructions and circulate to relevant parties.
• Raise RFIC for clarification on technical matters.
• Issue memos/letters to Client or Subcontractor regarding quality matters or non-compliance.
• Ensure compliance with contract specs & standards.
• Establish quality procedures and checklists.
• Attend meetings when required.

Responsibility

• Assist QAQC Manager in quality issues.
• Monitor site inspection and test plans (ITP).
• Investigate and close Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) which issued by client/consultant.
• To prepare method statement, material approval request, Project Quality Plan (PQP) and related QAQC document.
• Prepare and submit Request for Inspection (RFI) to Consultant / Client for completed works.
• Check and verify Delivery Order (DO) against approved material and quantity and submit to client if required.
• Arrange, coordinate, witness all required testing (soil test, concrete cube test, material lab test, etc.) and submit to client/ consultant when necessary.
• Maintain proper documentation of Site Instructions (SI) and ensure circulation to relevant parties.
• Raise Request for Information & Confirmation (RFIC) to obtain clarification on technical matters when necessary.
• Prepare and issue memo / official letters to Client or Subcontractor regarding quality matters, defects, or non-compliance.
• Ensure compliance with contract specifications & standards.
• Establish quality procedures and checklist.
• Attend meeting if required.
