Job summary

Renesas Electronics in Kedah is seeking a leader to drive the Quality Assurance process, ensuring quality compliance and customer satisfaction across product lifecycle. You will coordinate corrective actions, perform PFMEA and Control Plan activities for new processes, oversee IQC and reliability testing, and guide cross-functional teams toward zero-defect outcomes.

This role requires a degree in science/engineering, knowledge of FMEA, 8D, MSA, SPC, plus Lean/Six Sigma.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering.
• Knowledge of FMEA, 8D, MSA, SPC.
• Understanding of Manufacturing/Test Engineering principles; Lean/Kaizen/Six Sigma.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Quality Assurance process to ensure quality compliances and customer satisfaction.
• Facilitate Customer Quality Issues and Internal Quality issues to drive Corrective & Preventive Actions.
• Facilitate Quality Planning Process [PFMEA, Control Plan, Measurement System Analysis, Quality Gate] for new process setup.
• Manage Incoming Quality Control (IQC) activities.
• Coordinate Ongoing Reliability Testing (ORT), product qualification, reliability assessment, and related failure investigations.
• Monitor Quality KPIs and coordinate Continuous Improvement activities.
• Perform Quality Audits to ensure compliances, process effectiveness, and elimination of Quality Risks.
