Job summary

Intel seeks a Manufacturing Quality and Reliability Engineer for its Penang Foundry QnR team, spanning silicon processing, fab manufacturing, and packaging interfaces. You will ensure products meet stringent quality and reliability standards from wafer fabrication to assembly, driving robust QC, excursion control, and continuous process improvement.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree or higher in a relevant engineering/physical science field.
  • Experience applying quality and reliability methodologies in semiconductor manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in statistics and data analytics for quality assessments.

Responsibilities

  • Assess inline process health, excursion impact, yield risk, defect mechanisms, and downstream packaging implications.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions using 8D methodologies.
  • Collaborate with fab, substrates, assembly, and quality teams to strengthen excursion detection and process controls.
  • Develop and implement statistical process control, Pareto analysis, and control plans across fabrication steps.
  • Support excursion management, MRB, containment, and risk assessment with internal teams and partners.
