Job summary

AMOS Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a QHSE Senior Executive based in Tanjung Langsat, Johor. You will develop, implement, and continuously improve the company’s quality, health, safety, and environmental management systems to safeguard people and operations.

You will lead risk assessments, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote a strong safety culture through training and proactive incident investigation. This is a full-time, on-site role within the mining/resource energy sector.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field (OHS, environmental management, or related).
• Minimum 5 years in a QHSE role, preferably in mining/resources/energy.
• Strong understanding of QHSE regulations, standards and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and QHSE software tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve QHSE management systems.
• Carry out risk assessments and implement control measures.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations and industry standards.
• Provide training and support on QHSE matters to promote safety culture.
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Engage with regulatory authorities and stakeholders to stay updated on QHSE requirements.
• Prepare and submit QHSE reports and analytics to senior management.
