Job summary

CBRE Asia Pacific is seeking a Health, Safety and Environment Coordinator to assist in developing procedures and guidance within the HSE program. The role focuses on safeguarding employees and communities, with duties spanning incident monitoring, compliance checks, and process improvements.

The role is based in Kuala Lumpur / Petaling Jaya in Klang Valley. You will support monitoring, analysis, and reporting, following defined procedures under close supervision, and contribute to cost-reduction

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 7–10 years of related experience.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Provide support for monitoring injury, illness, and incident-related performance.
• Support the development and implementation of strategic solutions to improve performance results.
• Examine permits, licenses, applications, and records to ensure compliance.
• Prepare, organize, and maintain inspection records; investigate complaints and suspected violations.
• Monitor follow-up actions and present findings to management.
• Inform management, clients, and employees of control regulations and findings; suggest corrective actions.
• Assist cost-reduction and quality-improvement initiatives.
• Apply existing procedures to solve straightforward problems under supervision.

About The Role

As a CBRE Health, Safety and Environment Coordinator, you will assist with the development of basic procedures and operational guidance within the Health, Safety, and Environmental program.

This job is part of the Environment Health and Safety function. They are responsible for organizational programs and procedures to safeguard employees and surrounding communities.

What You’ll Do

• Provide support for monitoring injury, illness, and incident-related performance.


• Support the development and implementation of strategic solutions to improve performance results.


• Examine permits, licenses, applications, and records to ensure compliance.


• Prepare, organize, and maintain inspection records. Investigate complaints and suspected violations.


• Monitor follow-up actions in cases where violations were found and present findings to management.


• Inform the management team, clients, and employees of control regulations and inspection findings, and make recommendations on how violations can be corrected.


• Aid in Identifying cost reduction and quality improvement initiatives.


• Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.


• Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail.


• Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.

What You’ll Need
