Private Advertiser is seeking a QHSE Executive in Malaysia to collaborate with operations and workshop teams to ensure work is completed on time and in compliance with company, client, regulatory, and industry requirements.
The role involves implementing and maintaining the QHSE Management System, conducting inspections and audits, coordinating QHSE training, supporting incident investigations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining documentation across the site.
The QHSE Executive will work closely with the operations and workshop teams to ensure that work is completed within the specified timeframe and in compliance with company, client, regulatory and industry requirements.
Key responsibilities
Assist in implementing and maintaining the QHSE Management System in accordance with API-Q2 Spec, ISO standards, company procedures, and client requirements.
Conduct routine inspections, audits, and workplace monitoring activities to identify hazards, unsafe practices, and non-conformances.
Assist in coordinating QHSE training, toolbox talks, inductions, and awareness programs for employees and contractors.
Support incident, accident, and near-miss investigations, including documentation, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
Monitor compliance with safety procedures, permit-to-work systems, risk assessments, and operational controls.
Maintain QHSE documentation, records, reports, registers, and filing systems in accordance with company procedures.
Participate in internal and external audits and support the closure of audit findings.
About you
Minimum Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental, Quality, Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 2/3 years of relevant QHSE experience.
Experience in Oil & Gas, workshop, engineering or industrial environments is preferred.
Knowledge or experience in API Spec Q2 and ISO is an added advantage.
Good communication, reporting and documentation skills.
Able to work independently and work closely with operations and workshop personnel.
