Job description

Micron Concept Aerostructures – Shah Alam, Selangor

• Performs visual and mechanical inspections on products based on the required characteristic
• Support quality inspections activities needed across the manufacturing (IPQC, OQA, first piece, Last piece,
• Carry out configuration verification by carry out document check on Supplier CoC, Mill Cert, Internal Manufacturing
• Order, Internal CoC etc to ensure product are manufactured as per the required specification and requirement
• Carry out product preservation & Identification (Packaging, Labeling, tagging, part protection etc ) to ensure part are properly protected and identified for traceability purposes
• Support Quality Engineers in inspection data collection, document generation and FAI dimensional reporting
• Performs other duties as assigned by superiors
• Quality inspection report generation and ensure data accuracy
• Evaluate non-conformance issue and highlight and feedback to superior
• Ensure applicable manufacturing document completeness
• Release inspected parts for FG storage and delivery purposes
• Assist and support quality and engineering during first article inspection & prototype runEnsure workplace cleanliness, FOD and overall 6S in workstation
• Ensure proper fill up of quality record and correct use of company issued stamp as per defined procedure
• Work closely with departmental lead to ensure departmental KPI, company policy , EHS policy, and Quality objective can be met
• Ensure QC output and efficiency
• Support in overall company improvement activities
• Ensure proper ERP data update / job check in / out
• CMM programming control and change control
• Report any Nonconformity / Observation on system, product quality to HOD or immediate superior for immediate action.
• Authorized to trigger production and shipment stop with justification part produced might not meeting the requirement and the need for further confirmation as part of the product assurance activities. Immediate report to superior for immediate resolution.
• May appointed as organization HIC (High Impact Committee) team member in coordinating and involving in organization 6S, FOD and EHS matter
• Ensure equipment used in ensure product conformity are calibrated and valid to be used.
• Ensure correct and proper use of QC per stamp and signatory control procedure.

Job Requirements

• Must possess at least a diploma in mechanical engineering or equivalentAt least 1 years working experience in manufacturing/ engineering field
• Technical Drawing & measurement tool understanding
• Computer literate and able to work independently
• Good command in written and spoken English
• Good Leadership skill
• Self motivated with good interpersonal and analytical skills
• Must have experience in performing engineering mechanical inspection
• Experience in CMM is a plus
