Job summary

Jord International is seeking an experienced QC Inspector for our Rasa manufacturing facility in Selangor, Malaysia. You will ensure fabrication, inspection and testing meet drawings, project requirements and Jord's quality standards.

This hands‑on role involves coordinating with production teams, clients and third‑party inspectors to identify issues early and maintain quality records, contributing to on‑time delivery of engineered equipment.

Qualifications

Tertiary qualification in Mechanical or Welding Engineering.
At least five years of relevant quality inspection experience.
Knowledge of ASME, API, ASTM and AWS codes.
Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Responsibilities

Perform inspections in accordance with approved drawings, ITPs and project documentation.
Coordinate inspection stages with clients and third‑party inspectors.
Progressively complete and sign off ITPs as each stage is completed.
Inspect receipt materials, welding, NDE, heat treatment, coating and packing activities.
Identify and resolve quality issues, non‑conformances and potential rework.
Maintain MDR documentation and inspection records.
