Job summary

SHLndustries Engineering in Malaysia is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join our manufacturing team. Responsibilities include set up and carry out in-process and outgoing inspections, reading precision machining drawings, and ensuring documentation is accurate.

You will raise Defective Material Reports, troubleshoot with other departments, compile daily QC records and prepare daily reports, and help implement ISO standards and procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read precision machining drawings.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in engineering or manufacturing.
• Proficient in Excel and Word for documentation.

Responsibilities

• Set up and carry out in-process and outgoing inspections.
• Read precision machining drawings.
• Ensure invalid and/or documents are promptly removed from all points of use.
• Raise Defective Material Reports; troubleshoot with other departments.
• Ensure quality compliance and alignment with ISO standards.
• Compile daily QC records and prepare QC daily reports.
• Undertake related tasks such as typing and report preparation.

• Set up and carry out In-Process and Out-going inspection at production
• Able to read Precision Machining drawing
• To ensure invalid and/or documents are promptly removed from all points of use
• Raised Defective Material Reports, troubleshoot and resolve quality issue by coordinating with other departments
• Ensure quality compliance
• Working with operating staff to establish procedures, ISO standards, systems and procedures and review them for time to time
• To compile of daily QC record and compute into QC daily report.
• To undertake any other related job such as typing, report, Preparation, etc
• Candidate must be able to know how to use excel, words etc
• At least 1 year of working experience in engineering or manufacturing related field
• Has knowledge in milling or lathing is a plus
