Job summary

AKT Components in Penang is seeking a Quality Inspector to ensure product quality across all production stages. The role requires performing multiple inspections, analyzing results, and recommending corrective actions to maintain specifications.

Candidates with experience in manufacturing and basic CMM knowledge are preferred. The successful candidate will join a team focused on quality assurance, working on a shift schedule, and contributing to process improvements for better defect control and

Qualifications

• Experience in operating a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) is an advantage.
• Must have basic quality inspection knowledge.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Candidates are required to work on a shift schedule.
• Monitor product quality throughout the production process.
• Inspect products according to the required quality specifications.
• Perform incoming, in-process, and final outgoing quality inspections.
• Recommend approval or rejection based on inspection results.
• Carry out product inspections and handle rejected items.
• Inspect, test, and sample materials, assembled parts, and finished products for defects and deviations from specifications.
• Monitor production operations and equipment to ensure compliance with specifications; suggest necessary adjustments.
• Discuss inspection results with relevant personnel and recommend corrective actions.
• Reject or dispose of products, materials, and equipment that do not meet specifications.
• Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned.
