Job summary

NOVACO RESOURCES SDN BHD in Penang, Malaysia is seeking a QA/QC professional to monitor inspectors, manage non-conforming materials, and assist in customer complaint investigations. The role focuses on ISO 9001/14001 compliance, calibration control, and supplier QA support.

The candidate should have SPM or equivalent and 1–2 years of admin/clerical experience, with a team-driven environment and growth prospects in the blower/air conditioner manufacturing sector.

Qualifications

• SPM or relevant working experience in similar industry.
• At least 1-2 years' experience in administration and clerical duty.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the progress of QA/QC inspectors
• Handle the non-conformance quarantine area of finished goods and raw material
• Handle non-conforming product
• Assist to carry out investigation for customer complaints
• Follow up internal nonconformance action taken
• Perform quality sampling check for sub-contracted parts
• Handle disposal activities that are kept in QC quarantined area
• Provide refresher training to the QA/QC inspectors
• Support any shorthanded QA/QC workstation
• Handle material incoming and outgoing QC activities

Job description

1) Good knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management System.

2) Basic to good knowledge of ISO 14001 Environmental Management System.

3) Knowledge of incoming, in-process and final inspection.

4) Able to read and understand engineering drawings, specifications and work instructions.

5) Knowledge of measuring instruments and calibration control.

6)Familiar with NCR, CAR, CAPA and customer complaint handling.

7) Experience in supplier quality issues and supplier corrective action follow-up.

8) Able to support ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 internal audits.

9) Able to prepare quality reports, charts and basic statistical analysis.
