Job summary

AG STAFFING seeks QAQC Engineers - Civil & Structural for a Data Centre project in Johor Bahru. Three vacancies exist within a Construction Multinational, offering a hands-on role in ensuring quality across civil and structural works on site.

You will develop ITPs, oversee material testing, maintain robust documentation, and drive NCR/CAPA closures prior to handover. Strong coordination with consultants, clients, and subcontractors is essential.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of QA/QC experience in construction.
• Experience in civil, structural, data centre and infrastructure projects.
• Able to prepare and manage ITPs, inspection records and quality documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Inspection Test Plans (ITP) for C&S scopes.
• Verify structural tolerances for steel, concrete and equipment pads.
• Monitor material testing such as concrete slump, cube crushing and rebar strength.
• Maintain quality records, track NCRs, and ensure CAPA closure before handover.
• Conduct routine walkdowns to identify and resolve structural issues early.

QAQC Engineers- Civil & Structural (Data Centre Construction) - Johor Bahru - 3 Vacancies (Construction Multinational)

Key Responsibilities

• Inspection Test Plans (ITP): Develop and implement comprehensive plans and method statements for C&S scopes.
• Structural Tolerances: Verify that structural steelwork, concrete works, and equipment pads are within the exact tolerances required to support heavy server racks and HVAC systems.
• Material Testing: Monitor the sampling and testing of construction materials (e.g., concrete slump tests, cube crushing, rebar tensile strength).
• Documentation & Compliance: Maintain robust quality records, track non-conformance reports (NCRs), and ensure corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) are closed before handover.
• Defect Management: Conduct routine walkdowns to identify and resolve structural snags early to avoid costly retrofits.

Preferences:

• At least 5 years of relevant QAQC experience in construction projects.
• Experience in civil, structural, data centre, building, infrastructure construction is preferred.
• Able to prepare and control ITP, inspection records, method statement quality requirements, material inspection and site quality documentation.
• Able to coordinate with consultant, client, subcontractors and site team for inspection and rectification works.
