Job summary

BettingJobs is assisting an online gaming brand in Malaysia to hire a QA Tester to join the team. The role focuses on delivering high-quality releases in a fast-paced online gaming environment, working across manual and automated testing.

You will develop test plans, perform API tests, and collaborate with engineers, product owners, and analysts to meet quality standards, with opportunities to mentor others and drive testing excellence.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of QA experience in manual and automated testing.
Strong knowledge of testing methodologies.
Experience in Agile environments and sprint ceremonies.
Proficient in test planning, execution, and defect reporting.
Experience with API testing and tools.
Ability to communicate across teams in English and Mandarin.

Responsibilities

Contribute to improving testing processes and methodologies.
Identify and adopt tools to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
Ensure timely completion of quality tests within project timelines.
Develop and maintain test plans, cases, and scripts for manual and automated testing.
Conduct performance, regression, end-to-end, and UAT testing.
Execute API testing using Postman and Bruno.
Collaborate with engineers, business analysts, and product owners to meet quality standards.
Identify, report, and track bugs with timely resolutions.
Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
