Job summary

TransPerfect Games in Malaysia seeks game testers to join a dynamic QA team and test upcoming titles from indie studios to AAA publishers. You will execute predefined test cases, document defects, and provide actionable feedback to improve gameplay and balance.

This onsite role requires residing near Selangor and working core business hours, Mon–Fri, with a fixed-term contract. Ideal candidates are passionate gamers with strong English writing, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Execute assigned test cases using predefined test runs while adhering to the test plan.
• Proactively suggest improvements to existing test cases, test suites, and execution approaches.
• Participate in test strategy discussions and provide constructive feedback.
• Professionally provide feedback on gameplay, fun factor, game balance, and overall player experience during project testing cycles, when requested by the client.
• Record test results, including observed behaviors, defects, and deviations from expected results.
• Collaborate with Automation Engineers to identify test cases suitable for automation and provide inputs for automation scripts.
• Report and track defects using a defect tracking system, providing accurate and detailed information to assist in defect resolution.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution of defects.
• Work closely with QA Engineers and QA Leads to clarify test execution details, raise concerns, and provide feedback on test coverage and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with QA Compliance Testers to ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements during testing.
• Continuously update and maintain test documentation, including test cases, test data, and test environments.
• Monitor and track test execution progress, providing timely status updates to relevant stakeholders.

Important information:

• This position is on a fixed term contract.

• As a mandatory requirement, you must have the right to work in Malaysia. You will be required to provide supporting documentation. You must be a permanent resident or have a relevant work permit/ Visa in order to be considered for this position.

• This is an onsite position. You are required to work onsite during core business hours (Mon – Fri, 8 hours per day) at our office in Selangor, Malaysia. So you shall be based in the Selangor area or you are within commuting distance to our office.
