Job summary

Beyondsoft Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a detail-oriented software QA tester to join our Shah Alam team. You will create and execute test plans, write test cases, and produce comprehensive test reports to support timely releases.

The ideal candidate has a Diploma/Bachelor in CS/IT, at least 1 year of QA experience, and strong knowledge of STLC, bug tracking (e.g., Jira), and Agile/Scrum practices. Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

Diploma / Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 1 year of experience in software testing or QA.
Good understanding of STLC and SDLC.
Familiarity with manual testing methodologies, test case design, defect tracking, and bug reporting.
Experience with Jira or similar tools.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Good communication and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Experience in Agile/Scrum environments would be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

Create and execute test plans, write test cases, and generate test reports.
Analyze software, hardware, or firmware requirements for feasibility within time and cost.
Submit bug reports and ensure issues are identified, documented, tracked, and resolved.
Perform manual functional and non-functional testing.
Collaborate with teams to scope, size, and design quality delivery.
