Job summary

C MAX MANUFACTURING SDN. BHD. in Penang seeks a Quality Assurance Inspector to perform daily visual and instrument inspections and interpret drawings with GD&T. You will input data, maintain inspection records, and coordinate with production for quick turnarounds.

The role requires a Diploma or higher in Mechanical or related field, 3 years in QA, and proficiency with QA equipment; NDT MT/PT certification is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma & above in Mechanical or related field.
• 3 years related working experience in Quality Environment.
• Computer literate. Preferred experience with QA equipment.
• No color blind.

Responsibilities

• Reports to Quality Assurance Manager / Engineer.
• To perform daily Inspection either visual or using QA Equipment-Caliper, CMM, Scope, VMM, gauges for activities assigned by immediate superior.
• To perform daily Inspection machining inspection.
• Able to interpret mechanical drawing and knowledge in GD&T, machining symbol and defect.
• Familiar with ASME and BSEN code and standard.
• NDT certification for MT and PT.
• To input all inspection data into inspection checksheet and get approval from supervisor.
• Report to Supervisor and relevant parties for non-conformity detected.
• Ensure measuring tools and equipments used are calibrated & safekeeping.
• To keep and maintain inspection records in proper manner and tidy all the time.
• Liaise with Production for quick turnaround of work in progress for clearance.
• Daily update on daily QA Report.
• Able to perform CMM / VMM / AOI programming will added advantage.
