Fuya Energy Sdn Bhd is seeking a QA/QC officer to ensure quality production aligns with company standards, customer requirements, and regulatory rules. You will manage inspection, testing, non-conformance control, corrective actions, and quality documentation to support continuous improvement across the battery manufacturing process.
Candidates should have 2–3 years in manufacturing QA/QC, a related diploma or degree, and knowledge of root cause analysis, defect identification, and safety
The QA/QC officer is responsible for maintaining quality production to ensure that all products manufactured meet company quality standards, customer requirements, specifications, and applicable regulatory requirements. The QA/QC officer shall ensure effective inspection, testing, defect detection, non-conformance control, corrective action, quality documentation, and continuous improvement while promoting teamwork, discipline, safety, and quality awareness throughout the production process.
Understand the complete battery manufacturing process and establish the required quality control points and inspection requirements for each production process.
Work together with personnel in carrying out incoming, in-process, and final inspection activities according to approved specifications, SOP's, work instructions, control plans, and quality standards.
Ensure all inspection and testing equipment, gauges, measuring instruments, and test equipment are properly maintained, calibrated, and suitable for use.
Monitor production processes and product quality to identify defects, abnormalities, trends, and potential quality risks before products are released.
Ensure all non-conforming products are properly identified, segregated, controlled, recorded, and prevented from unintended use or shipment.
Apply root cause or prevention knowledge based on experience and training given.
Ensure QA/QC records, inspection reports, test results, non-conformance reports, corrective action reports, and other quality-related documents are properly completed, maintained, and tracible.
Conduct regular quality inspections and audits at production workstation to ensure compliance with company SOP's, control plans, work instructions, and quality requirements.
Minimum 2-3 years related experience in handling machines, recording, filling.
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related fields.
SPM with extensive Science background experience may also be considered.
Technical or vocational certification.
Understand Battery Making Processes.
Understand root cause analysis and defect identification.
Maintain proper records of samples and rejects.
Prioritize safety of workers and quality of product before quantity of production.
Knowledge of Manufacturing processes, Quality Inspection, Defect identification, Quality Control and Quality Assurance principles, Workplace Safety and Health requirements, 5S and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Root Cause Analysis and basic problem-solving techniques.
