A prominent recruitment platform in Malaysia is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to oversee the inspection and quality control of products. The role involves managing internal processes, collecting customer feedback on supplier quality, and assuring the Quality Management System operates effectively. Candidates should have a degree in engineering and at least 5 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in English and preferably Mandarin is required. Coordinate with material or purchasing team to Oversee inspection (examination) of incoming materials, product quality, ensuring that they meet requirements & liaise with vendor and supplier on the quality issues
Manage the monitoring, measurement, and review of internal processes, especially those that affect the quality of the organization’s products.
Collects and understands external and internal customers’ expectations or feedback on supplier quality, and cooperates with other top management personnel in formulating and establishing company policies, operating procedures, innovation plans, and goals for supplier quality.
Assure Quality Management System is properly operated with continual improvement through different kinds of audit
Motivate and supervise the subordinates at the QA/QC section and full utilization of manpower to meet deadlines
Maintain good employee relation, assist subordinates in solving technical problems, assess the performance of subordinates, involve in the selection and training of new employees
Counsel and maintain discipline in the quality section
