Job summary

VISUAL PRECAST SDN BHD is seeking a Deputy QA/QC Manager to reinforce the QA/QC leadership for precast production and site delivery. The role ensures compliance with project specs, ISO 9001, Singapore Standards, and client expectations across factory and site operations.

The candidate will supervise QA/QC engineers and inspectors, coordinate audits, and drive continuous improvement in quality procedures and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• ISO 9001 Internal Auditor certification is an added advantage.
• CIDB Green Card (or willing to obtain upon employment).

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing and maintaining the QA/QC Management System in line with ISO 9001, BCA CONQUAS, and Singapore Standards (SS).
• Ensure compliance with approved shop drawings, method statements, and Inspection Test Plans (ITP).
• Oversee quality control across precast production stages from formwork to finishing.
• Monitor concrete testing activities such as slump tests and cube strength tests.
• Review inspection reports, MAR, concrete test results, and production records.
• Identify non-conformities and coordinate CAR/PAR with relevant teams.
• Coordinate with project & external parties; attend inspections with clients/consultants.
