Job summary

Pantech Corporation Sdn Bhd in Shah Alam is seeking a QA/QC Inspector to uphold quality in the oil & gas/steel sectors. You will apply inspection methods, operate tools, and collect data at defined gates while coordinating with QA/QC Supervisors.

The role requires strong English report writing, computer literacy, and a degree in Material Science or Metallurgy; training will be provided starting Pasir Gudang.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess STPM or SPM or Science/Engineering Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Material Science / Metallurgy
• Experience in quality assurance/inspection experience in Oil & Gas or Steel industry is an advantage.
• Experience in 5 years in Quality Controls will be an advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to drive quality improvement and process orientation.
• Hardworking, able to Team-work and willing to be multi-tasking.
• Strong command in report writing in English Language.
• Must be computer literate.
• Initialtraining must in Pasir Gudang

Responsibilities

• Knowledge in inspection method and technique.
• Able to use the inspection tools and interpret the results.
• Collect inspection data from periodic inspection at specific inspection gates.
• Collect sample from production site to laboratory for testing.
• Adhere to the established quality system and plan for inspection activities.
• Work closely with QA/QC Supervisors and attend to ad-hoc duties assigned.
• To assist superior for all QAQC activities.
