Job summary

ERS Energy Sdn Bhd in Kuching, Sarawak is seeking a QA/QC Engineer to join our on-site project teams. You will review drawings, coordinate with design engineers, and monitor deliverables to meet schedules.

The role requires experience in construction or renewable energy projects, proficiency in English and Malay, and a readiness to travel or relocate as needed. Local Sarawakian candidates are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Project Engineer or QAQC in construction or renewable energy projects (2 years for junior).
• Experience in reviewing drawings, specs, and project documents.
• Strong communication and ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project documents.
• Coordinate with design engineers for timely delivery of engineering packages.
• Monitor engineering deliverables against project schedules and milestones.
• Collaborate with procurement to ensure equipment specifications match design requirements.
• Oversee construction activities and ensure engineering revisions are implemented on-site.
• Support QA/QC processes and close Non-Conformance Reports.
• Prepare project documentation and progress reports.
