Job summary

Woh Hup Group is seeking a QA/QC Engineer (MEP) to implement site quality assurance and control systems, ensuring compliance with project and company standards. The role focuses on mechanical, electrical and plumbing work quality across the site, inspections, and reporting.

You will coordinate with the site team, assess operations daily, manage NCRs, and contribute to audits and safety compliance. A degree in mechanical or electrical engineering is required with a minimum of 3 years in building

Qualifications

• Minimum degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or construction related field.
• At least 3 years of building and/or mechanical/electrical engineering experience.
• Experience in QA/QC and certified auditors would be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Ensure mechanical, electrical and plumbing works comply with quality standards, drawings, and project specifications.
• Conduct inspections on materials, workmanship, and installation for all mechanical, electrical and plumbing elements.
• Coordinate with the site team on quality related issues for Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing trades;
• Assess site operations and procedures daily and recommend improvement actions;
• NCR Management - Provide insights for defects and recommend preventive measures;
• Prepare weekly/monthly reports for Management or Stakeholders;
• Assist and conduct Internal Quality Audits;
• Adhere to safety practices in the workplace.

The QA/QC Engineer (MEP) is responsible for implementing site quality assurance and quality control systems, in compliance with the company’s quality standards.

A summary of the responsibilities of this position are, and are not limited to the following:

• Ensure mechanical, electrical and plumbing works comply with quality standards, drawings, and project specifications.
• Conduct inspections on materials, workmanship, and installation for all mechanical, electrical and plumbing elements.
• Coordinate with the site team on quality related issues for Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing trades;

Skill & Requirements

• Education: Minimum Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or construction related field.

• Completed at least 1 building/civil project.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

• Knowledge of quality requirement of International Standards, industry norms and contract specifications
• Quality Management Systems – ISO 9001
• Knowledge in Mechanical or Electrical works
• Experience in Data center Testing and Commissioning would be an added advantage
