Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a QA Operations Specialist (Manager) to implement, maintain and continually improve the site's QMS. The role focuses on Change Control to consolidate product maintenance and manage evolving product changes.

The successful candidate will lead QMS deployment, drive validation activities, manage ECO/ECR changes, CAPA, and ensure ISO 17025 compliance while developing the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Quality Management or related field.
• At least 5 years in product quality, QA or QMS in manufacturing, electronics or tobacco sectors.
• Strong knowledge of quality systems, labs, standards and regulatory compliance.
• Proven leadership, stakeholder management, data analysis and multi-project skills.
• Fluent in English; Japanese or Mandarin a plus; SAP R/3, LIMS and MS Office advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation and continuous improvement of the QMS, ensuring compliance with standards.
• Drive product and process validation activities and provide actionable outcomes.
• Manage ECO/ECR changes to support regulatory and customer needs while meeting targets.
• Oversee CAPA processes using lab analysis and market feedback to improve quality.
• Coordinate validation testing and lab activities for product development and launches.
• Ensure ISO 17025 laboratory compliance and test result traceability.
• Lead and develop team members and manage additional projects as assigned.
