Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a QC Attendant to perform daily lab testing and ensure results meet internal specifications.

Candidates should have SPM, a professional certificate, or a diploma in any field, with 0–2 years in QC and basic computer literacy.

This full-time role requires shift work, a team player who can also work independently, and offers free parking, meal allowance, and opportunities for promotion.

Qualifications

• SPM or higher certificates in any field.
• 0–2 years of QC experience is advantageous.
• Basic computer literacy and basic math calculation.
• Willing to work shifts.
• Team player who can work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily lab testing as per duty roster.
• Perform lab testing according to the standard method in Lab Manual.
• Ensure testing results are within specifications and inform supervisor if out of spec.
• Prepare additives as per Additive Request / Preparation Form.
• Verify correct weight of additives before preparation and label bags.
• Update additive stock card after preparation.
• Record testing results in online QC system at end of shift.
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness and tidiness.
• Perform other tasks as required by HOD.

Responsibility

• Perform daily lab testing as per duty roster arrange by direct superior.

• Perform lab testing according to the standard method written in Lab Manual.

• Ensure the lab testing result is within the internal specification and immediately inform direct superior and production personnel when the testing result is out of specification.

• Prepare the additives used for production as per < Additive Request / Preparation Form >.

• Make sure the weight of individual additive is correct before preparation and label the plastic bag accordingly.

• Update the additive stock card after preparation of additive.

• Correctly key in the testing result to online QC system at the end of the shift.

• Maintain laboratory cleanliness and tidiness.

• Perform other task as and when require by HOD.
