Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to lead inspections, drive RCCA and 8D reporting, and uphold customer quality standards. The role requires PFMEA familiarity and ISO/IATF knowledge with strong documentation discipline.

The candidate will collaborate with IQC, SQE, Production, and Engineering teams to ensure corrective action effectiveness and continuous improvement across processes and products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in quality, mechanical, or industrial engineering or a related field.
• Experience with RCCA processes, including 8D reporting.
• Minimum 2–3 years of QA experience with inspections and RCCA methods.
• Familiarity with PFMEA and risk assessment practices.
• Systems knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, etc.
• Customer QA experience including audits.
• Proficiency in SPC and structured problem-solving methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Carry out inspections and machine buy-offs per customer specs and internal quality requirements.
• Verify all processes and products meet defined quality standards before next stage.
• Investigate and track nonconformities using RCCA and 8D reporting.
• Ensure documentation of evaluation, investigation findings and corrective actions.
• Promote and apply structured problem-solving to prevent recurrence.
• Communicate with IQC, SQE, Production, and Engineering to review corrective actions.
