Job summary

Pride Global is seeking a strategic leader to head the Quality Assurance function, ensuring products, processes, and systems meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.

You will build and guide the QA team, implement robust QMS, conduct internal audits, and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing lifecycle.

The role requires deep experience in aerospace/high-tech manufacturing, AS9100/ISO 9001 knowledge, and a track record of audit readiness and corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, or related field.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in manufacturing quality management.
• At least 5 years in a senior leadership or director-level quality role.
• Strong knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, SPC, FMEA, CAPA, and Root Cause Analysis.
• Experience in aerospace, precision machining, semiconductor equipment, or high-tech manufacturing preferred.

Job description

Provide strategic leadership and oversight of the organization’s Quality Assurance function, ensuring that products, processes, and systems consistently meet established quality standards, customer expectations, and applicable regulatory requirements. Drive a culture of continuous improvement, operational excellence, and quality throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the organization’s Quality Assurance strategy, policies, and objectives to support business goals, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction.
• Lead, manage, and develop the Quality Assurance team, ensuring effective execution of quality processes across the entire manufacturing lifecycle, from incoming raw materials through to final product delivery.
• Establish and maintain robust quality management systems to ensure compliance with internal standards, customer requirements, and applicable industry regulations.
• Plan and conduct internal audits, process assessments, and quality evaluations to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Partner with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Supply Chain, and R&D, to identify root causes of quality issues and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, process capability, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor quality performance indicators and trends, providing regular reports and recommendations to senior management.
• Ensure effective implementation of quality methodologies and tools, including Root Cause Analysis, CAPA, FMEA, SPC, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma.
• Stay current with industry best practices, technological advancements, and emerging trends in Quality Assurance, and recommend appropriate technologies, systems, and methodologies for implementation.
• Coordinate and manage relationships with external auditors, customers, certification bodies, and regulatory authorities to ensure ongoing compliance with applicable standards and requirements.
• Ensure organizational readiness for customer, regulatory, and certification audits, and lead the timely closure of audit findings and corrective actions.
• Promote a strong quality culture across the organization and ensure that employees understand and consistently adhere to quality standards and procedures.
• Safeguard the company’s reputation by ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality, reliable, and compliant products.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in manufacturing quality management, preferably within a high-technology or highly regulated manufacturing environment.
• At least 5 years of experience in a senior leadership or director-level quality role.
• Strong knowledge and practical experience with AS9100, ISO 9001, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, SPC, FMEA, CAPA, and Root Cause Analysis.
• Proven experience in aerospace, precision machining, semiconductor equipment, or high-tech manufacturing is preferred.
• Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS), compliance requirements, audit processes, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing quality teams and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
• Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate quality objectives into measurable business results.
• Experience working with customers, external auditors, certification bodies, and regulatory authorities.
• CQE, Six Sigma Black Belt, Lead Auditor, or other relevant professional certifications will be an advantage.
