Job summary

DXC Technology in Malaysia is seeking a QA Automation Tester to code automated tests for Web applications and APIs, build an automated testing framework, and establish a continuous testing process. You will ensure testing quality across developments, collaborate with stakeholders to understand functionality, and provide accurate estimates while driving automation improvements.

Familiarity with Java, Selenium, Cucumber, Git, and CI/CD pipelines is preferred, with experience in finance/insurance

Qualifications

• 0–2 years for junior, 2–6 for experienced in automated testing.
• Strong understanding of automation in testing and development processes.
• Experience in finance/banking/insurance preferred.
• Degree in IT or demonstrated learning path accepted.
• Gherkin/Cucumber and Selenium knowledge.
• Proficient in Java; Angular/Cobol as options.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Code automated tests for Web applications.
• Code automated tests for API and build automated testing framework.
• Setup and configure a continuous testing process.
• Ensure the quality of testing for all deliverables.
• Liaise with stakeholders to understand functionality to be tested.
• Provide accurate estimates for all work.
• Provide detailed feedback to development to resolve bugs.
• Prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Drive automation improvements continuously.
