Job summary

Materialise Medical in Malaysia offers an internship for a student team member focusing on software quality assurance. You will design and run tests, report issues, and help build automation within CI/CD pipelines.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a bachelor’s in computer science or related field, with Python experience and strong English communication. The role targets a 5–6 month internship with local visa eligibility in Malaysia.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer science, software, or a related engineering field (software, IT).
Knowledge and experience in Python is a must.
You are a good communicator.
You are analytical with an eye for detail.
You are curious about software testing.
You demonstrate the ability to work in a distributed team.
You have a good level of both oral and written English.
Only local Malaysians or candidates holding a relevant student visa to undertake an internship in Malaysia will be considered. The minimum expected duration is 5 months, but ideally 6 months or longer.

Responsibilities

Create test plans, test cases, test reports, etc.
Generate detailed bug and issue reports
Design, build, and maintain scalable, maintainable, and reusable automation frameworks.
Develop automated functional, regression, smoke, integration, and end-to-end test suites.
Provide feedback to improve software quality assurance approaches
Maintain automated test execution pipelines within CI/CD environments.
Ensure automation stability, reliability, and execution efficiency.
