Lattice Semiconductor in Malaysia is seeking a passionate and innovative Software Quality Assurance Intern to join our Quality Engineering team. You will work with experienced QA Engineers and Software Developers to validate software quality, support automation, and explore AI technologies to improve testing efficiency.

This internship offers hands-on experience in software testing, test automation, AI-assisted quality engineering, and Agile practices.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or a related field.
Basic understanding of software development and testing concepts.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
High attention to detail and passion for software quality.
Eagerness to learn emerging technologies, including AI applications in software engineering.

Responsibilities

Execute manual and automated test cases for software applications.
Identify, reproduce, document, and track software defects.
Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing to ensure product stability.
Assist in creating and maintaining test plans, test cases, and test documentation.
Participate in requirement reviews to identify test scenarios and quality risks.
Collaborate closely with developers, QA engineers, and product teams throughout the development lifecycle.
Support the development and maintenance of automated test scripts and frameworks.
Execute automated regression tests and analyze test results.
Contribute to improving automation coverage and testing efficiency.
Assist in integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines.
Explore and evaluate AI tools and technologies that can improve software testing productivity.
Leverage Generative AI and AI-assisted tools to generate test cases, improve coverage, and assist in defect analysis.
Participate in proof-of-concept projects focused on AI-driven testing solutions.
Recommend innovative approaches to enhance QA processes through AI adoption.
