Job summary

Centific is seeking an automation QA Engineer to define robust automated testing strategies for web and desktop applications. You will develop and execute automated test cases across functional, regression, performance, and compatibility domains.

Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright or Selenium, integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, and enhance QA tooling. Strong English and Mandarin communication are required to collaborate with regional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of automation testing experience for web and desktop apps.
• Proficient in C# or JavaScript with robust automated test scripts.
• Hands-on with Playwright, Selenium, or similar frameworks.
• Experience with Visual Studio, npm, Mocha/Jest, and CI/CD tools.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted automation testing and AI tools is a plus.
• Strong English and Mandarin communication in regional teams.
• Experience mentoring automation testers is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement automated testing strategies for quality and reliability of apps.
• Develop and execute automated test cases across functional, regression, and performance tests.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks (Playwright/Selenium).
• Integrate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Support and enhance internal automation tools and QA infrastructure.
• Develop custom automation tools to improve testing efficiency.
• Evaluate QA workflows and address process gaps with fit-for-purpose utilities.
• Leverage AI and ML to automate repetitive QA tasks and improve coverage.
• Advocate for AI-driven testing to reduce risk and expand coverage.
• Analyze test results with advanced analytics and AI-assisted reporting.
