Job summary

Centific is seeking a Software Development Engineer (Playwright with C#) to drive automated testing for web and desktop applications. You will design, implement, and maintain robust test suites, leveraging AI-assisted QA techniques to boost efficiency.

In this role, you will integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins), collaborate across regional teams, and stay ahead of evolving QA practices with modern tools and frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of automation testing experience for web and desktop applications.
• Experience with Playwright, Selenium, or similar automation frameworks.
• Experience with Visual Studio, npm and testing libraries (Mocha, Jest).
• Familiarity with AI-assisted automation testing and ML-based analysis.
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Solid understanding of QA methodologies and SDLC/STLC.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement automated testing strategies for web and desktop apps.
• Develop and execute automated test cases for functional and regression testing.
• Integrate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins).
• Support and enhance internal automation tools and test infrastructure.
• Design, develop, and maintain custom automation utilities.
• Leverage AI and ML to automate repetitive QA tasks.
• Analyze test results using analytics and AI-assisted reporting.
• Stay current with automation and AI-enabled QA practices.
