Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a purchasing assistant to manage vendor sourcing, price negotiation and order clerical duties. You will work closely with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and accurate documentation.

Requirements include at least SPM or certificate/diploma and a minimum 1 year in a related role. Preference for candidates with knowledge of purchasing/inventory and warehouse management. On-site position in Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least SPM or Certificate/Diploma.
• At least 1 year of working experience in the related field is required for this position
• Preferably candidates specializing in Purchasing/ Inventory/ Material & Warehouse Management or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for purchasing and related clerical duties
• In sourcing, selecting and negotiating with suppliers
• Follow up with supplier on delivery schedule
• Other ad hoc tasks given by HOD
