Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Purchasing/Store Operations professional in Malaysia to source suppliers, negotiate pricing, issue POs, and coordinate timely material deliveries to support production. The role involves handling overseas purchases and maintaining accurate stock records.

The ideal candidate has a diploma with 3+ years in purchasing or store ops, proficiency in MS Office and SQL, trilingual communication, and a strong vendor network. Knowledge of ISO procedures is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma with minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in purchasing or store operations.
• Proficient in MS Office and SQL system.
• Able to communicate in Trilingual.
• Technical background with strong vendor network is an advantage.
• Knowledge of ISO documentation / procedures.
• Responsible, independent and able to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Source suppliers, negotiate pricing & issue Purchase Orders.
• Coordinate timely delivery of materials to support production.
• Handle overseas purchases (Taobao / online platforms).
• Maintain proper goods / materials / tools movement (incoming & outgoing) in system and logbook.
• Conduct monthly stock count & ensure warehouse is clean, safe and well-organized.
• Liaise with suppliers and drivers to ensure smooth and cost-effective deliveries.
• Knowledgeable in handling import duties and liaise with forwarding agents.
• Perform basic administrative duties and support daily operations.
