AGENSI PEKERJAAN TRUST RECRUIT SDN. BHD. is seeking a committed Purchasing/Procurement Executive to support fast-paced manufacturing operations in Penang.

You will handle material planning, supplier coordination, PO management and ensure materials are available for production. You will monitor MRP, manage delivery schedules, resolve supplier issues, and contribute to cost reductions while maintaining accurate ERP/MRP data.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Purchasing, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2–4 years of purchasing or procurement experience.
• Candidates from EMS / OEM / Electronics & Electrical manufacturing environments are highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of MRP, inventory planning, and supply chain processes.
• Good negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems.

Responsibilities

• Execute purchasing activities to support production and prototype builds.
• Manage and monitor Material Requirement Planning (MRP) to ensure material availability.
• Issue and manage purchase orders based on agreed pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate closely with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and quality compliance.
• Monitor inventory levels and minimize excess, obsolete, or shortage risks.
• Resolve supplier delivery, quality, and invoice-related issues effectively.
• Support cost reduction initiatives including freight optimization and supplier negotiations.
• Maintain accurate purchasing data and planning parameters within ERP/MRP systems.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders including Planning, Production, Supply Chain, and Finance teams.

We are looking for a committed and detail-oriented Purchaser to support our procurement and supply chain operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for material planning, supplier coordination, purchase order management, and ensuring timely material availability to support production requirements.
