Job summary

Sunway Marketing Sdn Bhd in Sepang, Selangor seeks a detail-oriented purchasing and inventory professional to plan and purchase parts for HQ and branches, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries.

You will analyse stock movements, classify ABC items, source alternate parts for cost savings, determine selling prices, and maintain data cleanliness in the system. Diploma/degree and 1–2 years in related roles preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Business Management, Economics or Supply Chain Management.
• 1–2 years in Purchasing, Inventory Management, Planning or Supply Chain Management.

Responsibilities

• Plan and purchase parts for HQ and branches.
• Follow up with principals / suppliers on delivery date, shipment and expedite delivery for urgent shipment.
• Liaise with principals / suppliers on parts-related issues - quality issue, short shipped, over shipped, wrong supply, price discrepancy, etc
• Liaise with Shipping Department to bring in overseas shipment.
• Manage stock to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
• Analyse stock movement for parts, classify ABC.
• Source alternate parts for cost saving and supply continuity.
• Work out Selling Price for parts.
• Manage obsolete / ageing stock. Work with Product Heads, Service team, and branches to clear obsolete / ageing stock.
• Prepare reports as assigned.
• Maintain data cleanliness in system.
