Job summary

Rising Net Sdn Bhd is seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Executive to support purchasing and inventory functions, including stock receiving, supplier coordination, and PO processing. You will collaborate with warehouse operations and cross-branch teams to ensure smooth stock flow.

Requirements include a Diploma/Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Logistics, with 1–3 years in purchasing or procurement.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or inventory management, preferably within a trading or distribution environment.
• Familiarity with GRN processing and inventory/ERP systems is an advantage.
• Detail-oriented with good numerical accuracy; basic Excel skills for stock analysis.
• Good communication skills for coordinating with suppliers, warehouse staff, and cross-branch teams.
• Proficient in spoken and written Mandarin, as this role requires direct liaison with China-based suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Process Goods Received Notes (GRN) for back-to-back orders, ensuring accuracy against purchase orders and delivery documents.
• Manage and monitor container stock shipments, coordinating with vendors and forwarders on shipment schedules and delivery timelines.
• Liaise with suppliers to obtain pricing, quotations, and stock availability for items not held in inventory, and support supplier coordination as needed across branches.
• Maintain accurate inventory records for incoming stock, ensuring timely and correct updates in the Company's system.
• Coordinate with the warehouse team to reconcile GRN records against physical stock counts.
• Liaise with suppliers on delivery schedules, discrepancies, and issues related to container or bulk stock orders.
• Support stock forecasting and inventory analysis to inform future purchasing decisions.
• Assist in identifying slow-moving or excess stock and flag findings for management review.
• Maintain proper purchasing documentation and records for audit and compliance purposes.
