Job summary

Customcraft (M) Sdn Bhd in Shah Alam, Malaysia is seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to oversee the entire purchasing function, drive cost efficiencies, and manage supplier relationships. You will develop strategies, coordinate with internal teams, monitor orders and inventory, ensure policy compliance and analyze spend data.

The role requires Mandarin-speaking ability (to liaise with Mandarin-speaking suppliers) and a Diploma/Degree in Purchasing or related fields.

Qualifications

• Mandarin speaking required to communicate with Mandarin-speaking suppliers.
• Diploma/Degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, Mechanical or related field.
• Experience in logistics, supply chain or related field.
• Experience in purchasing raw materials for manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of procurement principles and practices.
• Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in using procurement software or systems.
• Attention to detail and ability to analyze data.

Responsibilities
