Responsibilities

• Implement, maintain, review and ensure compliance with Trading Department (procurement and sales) policies and procedures.
• Implement, maintain and ensure accomplishment of the procurement and sales strategies/plans for building materials.
• Check and ensure accuracy of all data entry such as quotation, purchase order, delivery order, invoices and all software applications before forwarding to superior and management for endorsement.
• Analyze and report to immediate superior on short- and long-term market conditions, including the study of market trends.
• Initiate the materials planning stage of projects together with the project team and consultants.
• Source and compare appropriate products/materials available within the budget given by customers.
• Closely monitor the materials delivery schedule to smooth construction work progress and ensure quality compliance to our specifications.
• Carry out any other job tasks/assignments as and when requested by Senior Management, Department Head or direct superior.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of working experience in a related field.
• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in any field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Candidate fluent in Mandarin preferred, as the role requires dealing with Mandarin-speaking suppliers.
• Preferably a Junior Executive specialized in Purchasing/Inventory/Material & Warehouse Management or equivalent.
