Job summary

Winbond Electronics Corporation, through its Malaysia subsidiary Winbond Electronics Malaysia Sdn. Bhd., is seeking a Purchaser to handle sourcing, purchasing, and coordination of materials, equipment, and services for the company in Malaysia.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a related field and strong communication with Taiwan HQ and local suppliers. Fresh graduates are welcome, and experience in procurement or semiconductor manufacturing is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Source materials, supplies, and services from suppliers.
• Obtain and compare quotations to support purchasing decisions.
• Process purchase orders and monitor delivery schedules.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments on purchasing requirements.
• Build and maintain good supplier relationships.
• Identify and evaluate new suppliers.
• Resolve issues related to pricing, delivery, or quality.
• Maintain purchasing records and documentation.
• Support cost-saving, supplier development, and ESG initiatives.

Position Summary

The Purchaser is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and coordinating the delivery of materials, equipment, and services required by the Company. The role ensures procurement activities are carried out efficiently, cost-effectively, and in compliance with company policies.

Working Days : Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities

Source materials, supplies, and services from suppliers.

Obtain and compare quotations to support purchasing decisions.

Process purchase orders and monitor delivery schedules.

Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments on purchasing requirements.

Build and maintain good supplier relationships.

Identify and evaluate new suppliers.
