Esente Advisory Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur seeks an experienced Corporate Communications professional to lead PR, investor relations, and stakeholder engagement for assigned clients.
You will craft strategic counsel, manage media relations, oversee deliverables, and mentor junior staff, collaborating with internal teams to elevate brand visibility and reputation.
Develop, plan, and execute corporate PR, investor relations, and communication strategies for assigned clients.
Serve as the key point of contact for clients, managing day-to-day communications, expectations, timelines, and deliverables.
Provide strategic counsel and recommendations to clients on corporate communications, reputation management, media relations, and stakeholder engagement.
Lead research and analysis on clients, industry trends, market developments, competitors, and relevant business issues to support communication strategies.
Draft, review, and approve press releases, speeches, Q&A briefs, corporate statements, media materials, investor communications, and other PR content.
Build and maintain strong relationships with media editors, journalists, analysts, and relevant stakeholders to maximise media coverage opportunities.
Identify PR opportunities and proactively develop communication initiatives that enhance clients’ brand visibility and corporate reputation.
Prepare and support clients for media interviews, press conferences, corporate events, investor briefings, and other stakeholder engagements.
Manage projects from planning to execution, ensuring timelines, quality standards, budgets, and client expectations are met.
Coordinate effectively with internal teams, external vendors, media partners, and other stakeholders.
Monitor media coverage and communication outcomes and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
Manage and maintain accurate account documentation, reports, project timelines, and communication records.
Supervise, guide, and mentor junior team members to ensure quality and timely delivery of work.
Support business development initiatives, client presentations, proposals, and pitches where required.
Assist senior management in strengthening client relationships and identifying opportunities for account growth.
Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Business, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in public relations, corporate communications, investor relations, financial communications, or journalism, preferably within a PR or communications agency.
Prior experience managing client accounts, projects, and junior team members is highly preferred.
Strong understanding of corporate PR, investor relations, financial communications, and stakeholder management.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong ability to produce clear, persuasive, and professional corporate content.
Established media network and strong ability to engage effectively with editors, journalists, and other media stakeholders.
Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, organisational, and project management skills.
Confident in managing client relationships and providing strategic communication recommendations.
Able to manage multiple accounts and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proactive, resourceful, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with the team.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and comfortable using digital communication and collaboration tools.
