Job summary

Powerwell is seeking a Mechanical/Mechatronics engineer to support the Technical Director in the design, system integration and development of containerised Power Transformer Units (PTU) for data centre applications. The role emphasizes 2D/3D design, equipment integration and hands-on engineering coordination of the PTU.

You will develop 2D drawings and 3D CAD models, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure timely delivery of engineering milestones while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in system integration, mechanical design or modular infrastructure.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and 3D CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine PTU engineering designs, layouts and specs with the Technical Director.
• Create and maintain 2D drawings and 3D CAD models for general arrangements and installation details.
• Coordinate integration of electrical equipment and cooling systems within the containerised enclosure.
• Review dimensions, layout, cable routing and supports to prevent design clashes.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to verify interfaces and compatibility.
• Assist in BOMs, specifications and rev records; support prototype fabrication and testing.
