Job summary

BIG PHARMACY in Malaysia seeks a Pharmacist to support customer health needs with counseling on medications and basic health screenings. You will assist in stock management, ensure accurate dispensing and help maintain regulatory records.

Role requires good interpersonal skills, teamwork, and flexibility to work shifts, weekends and holidays. Mandarin is an added advantage for customer communication.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree or equivalent from a recognized body.
• Good organizational and customer service skills.
• Positive attitude with excellent interpersonal abilities.
• Team player who can also work independently.
• Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
• English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an added advantage.
• Able to work on shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• For hospital placement waiters, applicant may apply as Pharmacist Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers to understand medical and nutrition needs.
• Provide basic health screenings.
• Counsel and advise clients on medication regimens.
• Screen prescriptions and dispense accurately.
• Assist in stock management and maintain inventory records.
• Maintain product wastage at low level according to company policy.
• Train new co-workers and support promotional activities.
• Ensure pharmacy compliance with government regulations.
• Maintain prescription and poison book records.
