Job summary

Hong Leong Bank is hiring a Trade Services Protégé to join the Wholesale Credit Operations team in PJ City Trade Services Centre, Selangor. The role focuses on document intake, verification, data entry, and processing trade transactions to support customers and branches.

The successful candidate will work under the Line Manager, with training provided for those without prior experience, and an emphasis on accuracy, teamwork and strong communication in English.

Qualifications

• Malaysian citizen.
• Tertiary education in a relevant discipline with CGPA 3.0 or above.
• Fresh graduates or 1–2 years of related work experience.
• Training will be provided for those without experience.
• Proficient in English (written & spoken) and PC literate with knowledge in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Record receipt of documents in the Incoming Documents Register / Mail Register / Fax Register.
• Acknowledge receipt of Trade Services requests from customers/branches/banks/other units.
• Check, verify, process, input and authorize trade transactions.
• Ensure accuracy of data input and registration of trade transactions.
• Perform data input and scanning of documents into the system.
• Track payments of outstanding bills and paid transactions.
• Carry out duties as assigned by Head - TSC or team leader.

• Record receipt of documents in the Incoming Documents Register / Incoming Mail Register / Incoming Fax Register.
• Acknowledge receipt of Trade Services request (document) from customers / branches/other bank / other business unit.
• Check, verify, process, input and authorize trade transactions
• Ensure accuracy of data input and registration of trade transactions.
• To perform data input and scanning of documents into the system.
• Tracking payments of outstanding bills and paid transactions.
• Carry out any duties as may be assigned by Head - TSC or team leader from time to time.

Job Requirements

• Education/Qualification Malaysian citizen.
• Tertiary Education in relevant equivalent disciplines with minimum CGPA 3.0 and above.
• Fresh graduates or 1-2 years of working experience related.
• Training will be provided for those without experience.
• Proficient in English (written & spoken) and PC literate with knowledge in Microsoft Office Appliances.
• Results-oriented, work effectively with diverse teams and strong interpersonal skills.
