Puncak Teknologi (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Protege System Engineer in Malaysia to gain hands-on experience across design, implementation, integration, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of technology systems and infrastructure. Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in bachelor degree in electronic, network engineering, or a related technical field
• Strong foundational knowledge of telecommunications systems, network protocols, and infrastructure
• Familiarity with system administration and configuration tools commonly used in telecommunications environments
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills with the ability to document technical information clearly
• Willingness to learn and develop technical expertise in a mentorship environment
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements
• Preferred experience with specific telecommunications platforms or technologies such as network management systems, VoIP infrastructure, or optical systems

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and implementation of telecommunications systems and network infrastructure
• Support the installation, configuration, and testing of system components to ensure optimal performance
• Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostics to identify and resolve system issues
• Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, procedures, and technical specifications
• Monitor system performance and undertake preventative maintenance activities
• Collaborate with senior engineers to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices
• Provide technical support to operational teams and customers when required
• Participate in capacity planning and system upgrades under supervision
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of technical processes and procedures
