Qualifications

• At least 2 years of relevant work experience in heavy cargo, out-of-gauge operations, logistics, or project management.
• Familiarity with specialized vessels and equipment such as MPP/heavylift vessels, deck carriers, semi-subs, multi-axle trailers and SM transporters is preferred.
• Solid understanding of transportation regulations for oversized cargo.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication abilities are crucial for coordinating complex over dimensional cargo movements.
• Ability to manage various operations simultaneously, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the end-to-end logistics of projects shipments including documentation.
• Ensure timely and accurate movement of goods from the origin to the destination as per scope of work provided by the Project Manager / Operations Manager.
• Prepare and manage all necessary shipping documents and ensure compliance with international trade regulations and processes.
• Liaise with carriers, shipping lines, airlines, trucking companies and other service providers to ensure shipments are transported safely and efficiently.
• Monitor the progress of shipments and provide real-time updates to customers.
• Address and resolve operational issues such as delays, damages, or discrepancies.
• Maintaining operational excellence, ensuring customer satisfaction and provide service quality as per Blue Water standards.
• Travelling to meet clients or overseeing operations in various locations globally when required.
