Johnson Controls in Batu Kawan seeks a Project Technician to install basic field devices and perform commissioning using standard tools. You will troubleshoot system issues and respond to warranty calls while keeping all stakeholders informed of progress.

Ideal candidates hold a Diploma in engineering with at least 4 years of electrical experience in installation, commissioning, and maintenance of field devices and systems, and demonstrate strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma in engineering or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in electrical installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, or maintenance of field devices and systems.
• Familiarity with standard electrical/system concept, configuration and commissioning tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• This role is based in Batu Kawan.

The Project Technician will keep Johnson Controls, contractors, and customers informed of job progress and any issues as necessary.

What You Will Do

How You Will Do It

• Install security system field devices as required for project completion
• Commission newly installed devices using standard configuration and commissioning tools
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic system issues
• Respond to and resolve warranty calls within service level agreements
• Maintain clear and timely communication with Johnson Controls personnel, contractors, and customers on job progress, challenges, and resolutions
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with standards, protocols, and safety requirements
• Complete all required documentation accurately and in a timely manner
• Maintain tools and equipment in clean and working order
