Job summary

Pagoda Steel Works in Malaysia, Sungai Buloh, is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The role focuses on tendering, cost estimation and contract administration for steel projects.

Malaysian citizen preferred; the candidate should be able to work independently and within a team, maintaining accuracy in cost reporting and claims。”

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Experience in steel structure is an advantage.
• Knowledge of tendering, cost estimation and contract administration.
• Familiar with progress claims, VO and final accounts.
• Good communication
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Self-motivated and responsible.
• Malaysian citizen.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tender documents, quantity measurement and cost estimation.
• Handle progress claims, Variation Orders (VO) and final accounts.
• Manage contract administration and contractual claims.
• Monitor project costs and cost control.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, subcontractors and project teams.
• Prepare quotations, cost comparisons and related reports.
