Job summary

Capco is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead technology delivery and AI-enabled product initiatives within the banking and wealth domain in APAC. You will drive end-to-end delivery, work with product, business and technology teams, and manage stakeholders across client environments.

The role requires hands-on project leadership, strong governance, and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder ecosystems while delivering tangible outcomes for clients.

Qualifications

• Experience in Project Management and end-to-end technology delivery, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Proven experience delivering technology products, digital platforms or transformation initiatives.
• Strong understanding of Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Experience managing cross-functional technology teams, senior stakeholders, budgets and governance.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to operate in fast-paced, complex delivery environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of technology and digital product initiatives from initiation through closure.
• Manage AI-enabled projects, new product development and scaling of digital products.
• Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, budgets, resources and schedules.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including Product Owners, Business Analysts, developers and data specialists.
• Manage RAID risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies with timely escalation.
• Establish governance and provide reporting to senior stakeholders and programme leadership.
• Collaborate with product and technology teams to align delivery with business objectives and priorities.
• Coordinate testing, readiness, deployment and transition to BAU operations.
• Oversee third-party vendors and external delivery partners as needed.
• Drive continuous improvement in project execution and stakeholder collaboration.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with a strong technology delivery background to lead digital, technology and product development initiatives within the financial services industry. You will work on a portfolio of initiatives spanning AI-enabled solutions, new product development, digital enhancements and scaling existing technology products.

This is a hands-on, client-facing role requiring strong project delivery expertise, the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and experience working closely with product, business and technology teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of technology and digital product initiatives, from project initiation and planning through implementation and closure.
• Manage projects involving AI use cases, new product development, product enhancements and scaling existing solutions.
• Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, budgets, resources, dependencies and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams comprising Product Owners, Business Analysts, developers, architects, data specialists and other stakeholders.
• Manage project risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies (RAID), ensuring timely resolution and escalation.
• Establish effective governance and provide clear project reporting to senior stakeholders and programme leadership.
• Work closely with product and technology teams to ensure delivery aligns with business objectives, technical requirements and agreed priorities.
• Coordinate testing, implementation readiness, deployment and transition into business-as-usual operations.
• Manage third-party vendors and external delivery partners where required.
• Drive continuous improvement in project execution, delivery efficiency and stakeholder collaboration.

What We're Looking For

• Strong experience inProject Management and end-to-end technology delivery, preferably within banking or financial services.
• Proven experience delivering technology products, digital platforms, applications or transformation initiatives.
• Strong understanding of Agile, Waterfall or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
• Experience managing cross-functional technology teams, senior stakeholders, budgets and project governance.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, complex and evolving delivery environments.

Advantageous Experience

• Experience within Financial Services, Wealth Management or Private Banking.
• Exposure to AI-enabled projects, AI use cases, AI product implementation or AI-driven transformation.
• Experience supporting new product launches or scaling existing digital products.
• Experience within management consulting, technology consulting or professional services.
• PMP, PRINCE2, Agile or equivalent project management certification.
