Job summary

PEMBINAAN TERASMAJU SDN BHD is seeking an experienced Lead for Overhead Line (OHL) projects in Malaysia. You will lead full project cycles from planning to completion, drive progress, coordinate with TNB and other stakeholders, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

The role requires a bachelor in Electrical/Civil Engineering, 5+ years in OHL or transmission line projects, and direct TNB experience. Strong leadership and site management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Overhead Line (OHL) or Transmission Line projects.
• Direct experience in TNB transmission line development projects.
• Strong knowledge of OHL construction activities including foundation works, tower erection, stringing, and testing & commissioning.
• Proven experience in managing project teams, subcontractors, and site operations.
• Familiar with TNB transmission standards, authority requirements, and project documentation.
• Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to start immediately or on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the full cycle of OHL project execution from planning, implementation, monitoring, and completion.
• Drive project progress, site performance, manpower productivity, and ensure project milestones are achieved.
• Coordinate effectively with TNB, consultants, contractors, landowners, and relevant authorities throughout project execution.
• Monitor construction activities including foundation works, tower erection, conductor stringing, and associated transmission line works.
• Identify project risks, resolve site issues, and implement corrective actions to prevent delays.
• Ensure compliance with TNB requirements, safety regulations, quality standards, and project specifications.
• Manage project schedules, resources, subcontractors, materials, and equipment effectively.
• Prepare and review project reports, progress updates, claims, and project documentation.
• Attend project meetings and provide regular updates to management on project performance and challenges.
• Lead project teams to achieve project objectives safely, efficiently, and within budget.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by management from time to time.

Job Requirements :

• Minimum 5 years of working experience in Overhead Line (OHL) or Transmission Line projects.
• Direct experience in TNB transmission line development projects is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of OHL construction activities including foundation works, tower erection, stringing, and testing & commissioning.
• Proven experience in managing project teams, subcontractors, and site operations.
• Familiar with TNB transmission standards, authority requirements, and project documentation.
• Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Highly motivated, result-oriented, and capable of driving project performance.
• Able to work under pressure and manage multiple project activities simultaneously.
• Able to start work immediately or within a short notice period
